Tahseen Course (TC):
This is an introduction to ‘Ilm Al-Qira’aat! (knowledge of the Qira’at).
Students will learn 4 different recitations by going through and mastering them with Juz ‘Amma. Upon completion, students will receive one of three ijaazaat based on proficiency in applying recitation principles and their hifdh strength of Juz ‘Amma. Students must have Juz ‘Amma MEMORIZED to join this course.
The highest ijaazah will allow students to teach and give ijaazah in Juz ‘Amma to others; the next will qualify the student to recite and lead in the Qira’aat they have mastered; the lowest level of completion qualifies the student in reading these Qira’aat and can fast track them to retrying for the highest certifications.
Completion of this course can qualify students for future Qira’aat in Juz ‘Amma as well as the rest of Qur’an – all prerequisites for getting the highest ijaazah in Qur’an that links back to Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.
