Al-Hirz Institute, which will be referred to as Al-Hirz hereafter, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to preserve, empower, and serve the Islamic Community through knowledge.

User privacy is of the greatest importance at Al-Hirz, therefore we only collect limited information about you in order to provide the best experience in regards to occasional updates, request donations, and user-specific mobile and desktop features. Al-Hirz guarantees to provide the user with the right to modify, erase, or review collected data at any given time. We will never share your data with any non-GDPR compliant sub-processor. Al-Hirz will not share data with any type of entity for any reason other than to communicate directly with you or to enable a specific set of mobile or desktop features. Al-Hirz is committed to users’ rights to privacy, there we will always be transparent in regard to how the institution uses the data provided by any user through any means.
Contact Forms:
When visitors sign-up for e-mail communication such as newsletters and updates we collect the following fields: First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, E-Mail Address, and Message. Other forms may request additional data that is specific to the content you are requesting such as but not limited to: school name, coordinator name, organization name, Islamic community or masjid, occupation, etc. These fields are collected to enable, as consented to when the user signs-up, direct electronic communications related to specific updates from Al-Hirz Institute itself. Al-Hirz will never share this information with any non-compliant GDPR third-party and will only use the information to directly contact you. When you submit contact information to download or view gated content, we utilize temporary cookies to ensure we do not prompt you again since you have already signed up. We do not manipulate the cookies to obtain any additional information. Once the cookie is created it is stored in your browser and we do not continue to track it. Therefore proven by if the user clears their cache, the cookie will be deleted and our website will prompt for the same information again.
Analytics:
We utilize Google Analytics, Mailchimp, and Webflow to track metrics on our website such as the amount of traffic it receives. However, none of this data allows us to identify you and neither is it our intention to identify you. This data is anonymous and is provided to us directly by Google, Mailchimp, and Webflow. Donations:
When you donate through our website we pass your information on to our GDPR-Compliant sub-processor Donorbox. We store the following fields: First Name, Last Name, Address, Phone Number, Country, and Donation Amount(s). Credit card information is not visible to us, as that is managed by Donorbox and we are unable to modify the submitted data.
We do not and will never share your data for any purpose other to facilitate further communication with you, or to further your mobile or website user experience.
We do share and store your data on other sub-processing platforms such as Webflow, Donorbox, and Mailchimp.
Please note that all of our vendors are GDPR compliant and your data is exclusively used to contact only you for purchase-based items such as: course purchases, donations, donation receipts, general communication, or furthering your mobile experience.

If you sign up for a course through our website contact forms or mobile sign-up forms, your contact information is stored indefinitely. This is so we can continue to directly send you communications based on your requested preferences.
